Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so the image data never leaves your device. That also means there is no queue, no account, and no file size cap imposed by a server.
Will my image be stretched or cropped?
Neither, by default. The image is scaled proportionally to fit within 1024×768. Because it preserves the aspect ratio, one dimension may end up smaller than the target if your source has a different shape. Unchecking "keep aspect ratio" forces the exact dimensions instead.
Can I enlarge a small image to this size?
The "never enlarge beyond the original" option is on by default, because scaling an image up adds no detail — it just makes it soft. Turn it off if you specifically need the larger canvas.
Can I convert several images at once?
