Set a width, a height, or a percentage, and every image you drop in is resampled to match. Because the work happens locally you can resize a hundred files as easily as one, and large photographs do not have to make a round trip to somebody else’s server first.
Downscaling uses a high-quality filter rather than the crude nearest-neighbour sampling that makes resized images look jagged. There is also a Lanczos3 option under Advanced, which is slower but holds onto fine detail slightly better — worth enabling for images with text or hard edges.
Resizing is usually more effective than compression alone. An image displayed at 800 pixels wide gains nothing from being 4000 pixels wide in the file; scaling it to the size it is actually shown at often removes more bytes than any quality setting will.

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so the image data never leaves your device. That also means there is no queue, no account, and no file size cap imposed by a server.
Can I resize without changing the aspect ratio?
Yes — "keep aspect ratio" is on by default, so entering just a width lets the height follow automatically. Entering both gives you a box the image is scaled to fit inside.
Does resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller discards pixels, but the result stays sharp because a proper resampling filter is used. Making an image larger cannot add detail that was never captured, which is why upscaling is disabled by default.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Drop in as many files as you like — or a whole folder — and they are processed in parallel across your CPU cores. When they finish you can download them individually or grab everything as a single ZIP.
